About the Journal

The idea of issuing Kwartalnik Nauk o Przedsiębiorstwie was formed during many discussions hold by employees of Collegium of Business Administration of Warsaw School of Economics with entrepreneurs, managers and business analysts. Also students and alumni were often signaling the need of a journal that could confront  latest managerial theories against experiences of prominent business practitioners. Hence, we have decided to accept the challenge.

Every issue of the Journal starts with an Editorial Discussion, to which we invite representatives of both -  academia and business. We discuss latest, often controversial issues, which are faced by the enterprises on more and more competitive markets.

We pay special attention to the second section called Practical Theory.  We are deeply convinced that the best business theory is a practical theory. The next section of Journal is called Management Workshops. We present various experiences, problems and issues that business practitioners encounter in their work. The Section Reviews describes latest publications concerning economics and business. In the column Events we present current facts concerning both theory and practice of modern management and economics.
