The specific of bank bankruptcy management

The basic banks bankruptcies procedures in Poland defines the law of bankruptcy right and repair of banks; and specific sector bank right for such solution contains the bank law, which leaves one part of decisions in hands of the Commission of Financial Supervision. It is necessary to discuss the detail criteria of undertaking by the CFN decisions: or sanify, or bankruptcy. This opinion the author formulates on a basis of investigations which conducted in Polish banks. Reminding the experience of the wave of banks bankruptcies during the 1990 decade, the author analyses the contradiction or the vagueness in existing bankruptcy legislation and the practice of banks, as well as suggests the directions of changes.
